Goal of Wikimedia XYZ editors forum
IAC's goal is to empower adults in the XYZ nation in order to create trusted content in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively to people throughout XYZ and around the world. A priority is developing the Wikimedia.XYZ Editors Forum for increased editor participation, and to resist censorship.

From AE's perspective, you are not asking to move from separated XYZ back to a single position property -- you are actually asking to keep all position data as separate properties all the time, with the option to consolidate the separated XYZ properties in the interface under a single expandable position view.
